In recent years，although the research of Alzheimer’s disease is getting deeper and deeper，its mechanism is not explicit and the clinical effect of synthetic drugs is not significant，so the development of effective components of natural drugs has become a hot spot. Alkaloids，a naturalmedicine component，exist widely in nature. Because of their easy access to materials and a plenty of biological activities，such as anti-aging，anti-tumor，nerve protection，etc.，more and more researches have been made on them. In this paper，the potential treatment of AD by alkaloids in natural plants is reviewed，which provides theoretical basis for the treatment and research of AD.
