Abstract:

Forkhead box K1 (FOXK1) is a member of the Fox family, which is composed of more than 730 amino acids. It is characterized by a relatively conservative “forkhead” DNA domain, which can regulate various cellular processes. It is highly expressed in most tumors and promotes tumor progression. Its main mechanism is to regulate cell cycle, promote cell proliferation, and induce EMT( epithelial mesenchymal transition) in different ways. This article mainly discusses the expression and significance of foxk1 in most tumors.
