Acta Neuropharmacologica (ISSN 2095-1396, CN 13-1404/R) is a nationwide academic periodical of pharmacology founded in 2011. It is jointly sponsored by Hebei North University and Chinese Pharmacological Society，with official approval of General Administration of Press and Publication. Professor DU Guanhua, President of the Chinese Pharmacological Society, serves as the Chairman of the journal’s Advisory Committee Professor ZHANG Juntian, former chairman of the Chinese Pharmacological Society, serves as the honorary Editor-in-chief. The Advisory Committee is composed of five academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering and other leading experts in neuropharmacology. Acta Neuropharmacologica is bimonthly issued on the 26th of each even-numbered months, in Large 16K format with 64 pages. Acta Neuropharmacologica is an unique professional academic journal in China that focuses on neuropharmacology and related fields. Aimed at promoting basic research of neuropharmacology, the journal mainly reports original and innovative scientific achievement of basic and applied research in neuropharmacology and related disciplines. Article on the study of new drugs with definite chemical elements are especially welcomed. |

Columns include Original Research Articles, Experimental Methodology, Research Notes, Reviews, Scholar Forums, Academic Trends, etc., covering the fields of neuroanatomy, neurobiology and neurophysiology. The journal reports research works on active constituents in Chinese herbs, natural pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, molecular biology, pharmaceutics, toxicology related with pathogenesis of nerve system disease and its treatment. Acta Neuropharmacologica is characterized by its pioneering spirit, innovation, scientificalness and practical applicability, reporting the newest achievements in scientific research and research development timely and promptly. In principle, the periodical will not accept papers about researches without constant efficacy, such as ex-forge and coarse preparations. However, articles reporting Chinese herb pharmacological that meet national standards (with the approval number of each batch) will be published collectively or selectively. The aimed readers of the journal are researchers, technicians, clinicians, college teachers and students and management personnel in the field of neuropharmacology. |
