Research Progress on the Involvement of Bile Acids in the Pathogenesis of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis and Its Intervention with Traditional Chinese Medicine

Abstract:

Bile acid (BA) is involved in the development of chronic atrophic gastritis through a variety of mechanisms when it refluxes into the stomach under certain pathological conditions. This article reviews its involvement in the pathogenesis of chronic atrophic gastritis and its herbal treatment, with a view to providing new ideas for the study and treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis and bile reflux-related gastric diseases.
