Report of 1 Case of Sudden Mental Disorder of Huntington's Disease and Literature Review

Abstract:

Objective: To Explore the clinical characteristics of Huntington's disease patients, especially mental disorders, and improve the diagnosis rate of HD diseases based on understanding of psychiatric symptoms. Methods: In January 2022, under the principle of patients informed and voluntary, the clinical data of one HD patient receiving a section of the first hospital affiliated with the first hospital, Hebei Northern College, will be collected, revisited and followed up. Results: Two of the patient's family have psychiatric symptoms such as physical involuntary movement, walking instability, irritation and anxiety, this forensic witness sudden mental disorder, its CGA copy number is 43 times, HAMA score: 16, HAMD score: 18, through the relevant literature review to learn that psychiatric symptoms may be 10 years earlier than motor symptoms. Conclusion: Early diagnosis of HD is very difficult, of which family history is important, early psychiatric symptoms, imaging and pathology are equally important, and early diagnosis of HD patients is of great significance to early prevention, improvement of prognosis and improvement of patients' quality of life.
