Abstract:

Endothelin(ET)is one of the most potent and long-lasting vasoactive polypeptides with local regulation and contraction. ET can also regulate the secretion of reproductive hormones,physiological function of reproductive organs,muscle contraction and cell mitosis. It plays an important role in the reproductive process of mammals. This article reviews the role of endothelin in the pathogenesis of gynecological diseases.
